Yes, incentive funding is available for apprentices, subject to their age and the size of the business. Other training courses may be funded by targeted schemes, such as Lincolnshire's Skills Support for the Workforce programme, and members of staff can also apply for learning loans to support them through higher level qualifications. Yes, of course. Your employee will need to meet the entry requirements of the chosen apprenticeships. All apprentices who don't already have the required level of English and Maths will also need to achieve these, as part of the chosen apprenticeship. In addition, your employee may benefit from some of the College's short courses, which offer excellent value and are delivered locally.
The location of your training will vary, depending on the apprenticeship or course. Training, assessments and review visits can take place within your workplace; however, where particular equipment or IT support is required, these would normally run at either Boston College or Spalding College.
If you would like any additional information or you would like to book a course, please contact our Business Development Team on 01205 313242 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
